Question on how to read Available Memory

I am coming from a BB phone so memory management was different. I was exploring the phone today and came across the Services running and saw that I had something like

Avail: 183MB+113MB in 23 Other 57MB in 4

I don't quite understand what this means with the plusses and the "in" statement.

Not too long afterwards, I checked and I was down to

Avail: 99MB+0B in __ Other 0B in __

Could someone explain to me the format of the available memory and secondly if I should be concerned that I was going down to 0 in the spots shown in the second example?

Let the os do the memory management. It does a very good job at freeing up memory when needed and killing tasks that are not being used. I wouldn't worry about it.
