Help question regarding calender

Just got an atrix. Im new to droid, so I dont know if the calender is a droid or motoblur question, but I assume droid. If I want to add a event, and have the phone alert me with a ring and vibrate at the time of the event, can this be done? So far, it will give me a quick tone if I set a reminder for 15 minutes min earlier than the event. Also, Is there a better way to use the phone for a alarm clock? I used the calender on my old phone to wake me up. Im afraid a quick tone might not do the job. thanks

I am afraid calendar notifications are stuck with the notification ringtone, so unless if you want to use a really long notification ringtone, there isn't much you can do about it.
