Help Question| SMS Scrolling

I have A HTC LEGEND and the problem is that every time I get a SMS it got open at the top of the SMS (Instead of getting open on the newest chat with that specific person, it gets open at the first SMS I got from him and then I got to scroll all over the messeges until I get down to the last messege).

What can I do so the Phone would show me the last SMS each time I open the dialog with that person?

are you using the latest upgrade from HTC? that started happening last year when they did an upgrade, but there's been a fix since then.

you should be on 2.2 now i think?

if you go to

settings > about phone > system software updates

it should go online & do a check (you can set it to do it automatically) - this will upgrade you to 2.2 if you're not there.

if you are already on 2.2, then i have no idea, sorry.
