Question switching over from iphone 3GS

I have question before purchasing the phone if I upgrade my wifes phone from an iphone 3GS with the unlimited data plan and bring it home and put my sim in it from my iphone 4 (also unlimited data)with a sim adaptor and put her sim back in the iphone 3GS with the unlimited smart phone data will it work because I want to use the Inspire......sorry for the long question Thanks

No both phones won't have unltd data. The data plan stays with the phone number its assigned to. So what ever data plan you have on your number with the iPhone 4 will be the plan you have on the inspire once your sim is in it.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood the question its late and I just keep rereading it. Are you asking if you.can just use her upgrade to get a new phone? Then yes you can. I do it all the time.

Just go to the store and tell them you want to use your wifes number to upgrade your line. They will do the swap for you.
