questions about bluetooth

Hi.

Thinking about buying an audio system and most of these now come with an ipod dock. I dont have an ipod but was thinking I could use a bluetooth dongle in it - ive found two for sale, one made by kitsound and the other a layen I sync.

So, if I use one of these, I could play music on my tab, using the in built music app and send it to the audio system via bluetooth.

The question is, how to I turn off the speakers on the tab when doing that? I cant find any setting to do that.

Thanks.

Ps, any views on the best bluetooth adapter/ dongle to buy?

I have one made by Logictec, Bluetooth and works with them all.

Thanks.

When 'sending' music from your tab, how do you turn off the tabs speakers, or do they automatically turn off when Bluetooth is turned on? That is the essence of my question.

Note's speakers will automatically turn off, of course!

I have to say the modern bluetooth devices are worlds ahead of what they were even 5 years ago. The Logitec one I got pairs with up to 5 devices. So we have an iPhone 5, iPad mini, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 paired with it, plus my Mac Pro. All work flawless. Wonderful technology.

Thanks for this info.

I went to the Logitech site and all I can find is a wireless speaker adapter. This looks great and I'll probably now buy one to pair my tab with my Hi-Fi.

But what I'm primarily interested in is a little gizmo that fits in an IPod doc and allows you to play music, from the tab, on the music system.

Here's one such gizmo. I can't see any such device on the Logitech site - do they do one? Cheers.

KitSound Dock Air Bluetooth Adaptor

Get samsung dock. There are several versions with the best one having tube amplifier.

Thanks - they look good but I'm not after a dock as such. I'm about to buy a music system with an integral iPod, hence my question.

The music system will include digital/analogue radio and CD player.
