Help questions about facebook contacts

ok so when i sync my facebook contacts into my phone, i cannot dial them directly because their number shows a +1 at the beginning of their phone number. is there a way to remove or disable that?
 
I haven't tried to sync with facebook, so I couldn't tell you how to solve that one. But what I CAN say it that using your GMAIL account to sync contacts works like a charm. :)
 
My phone doesn't have that problem. I can call facebook contacts and fb contacts not in my phone are looked up when receiving a call. is your firmware up to date? Are you using lg facebook or android facebook?
