Root Questions about new radio v2

I am new to rooting and i want to flash BAMF Remix 1.5, it says on the site to download the new radio. Once i download the file how do i go about loading it onto my phone and flashing the rom? Do i load the rom first and boot into hboot? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I read on another site to flash the radio first then the rom. Worked fine that way on my phone and my wife's. Put it on your SD card and power up while holding vol down (hboot) and it will find it. Vol up to update it.
