Questions regarding Capacity

There has been a lot of talk around here of people wanting to get the 32 or 64GB versions. Now with Sprint announcing the Note 2 and it almost being certain that they will first release the 16GB one I'm trying to determine if that will suffice for my needs as waiting for a later release would be incredibly difficult.

I am not a hardcore gamer on my phone. I might download a few games (likely simple games) just to have and mess around with. I'd imagine I would store photos, videos and music on the SD card. So I think the main reason I need storage is for the apps.

I know some apps can be moved to the SD card but others people find become problematic when not run from internal storage.

So I guess my question is other than top tier games, are there really that many other apps that require large storage and shouldn't be run from the card that would require getting a larger variant than the 16GB?

I should say that I understand between bloat and system software the usable data will likely be closer to 5-8GB of data but the questions above don't really change.

Thanks.

Since you'll be running/using pretty small(er) apps, perhaps the 16GB would suffice and, in case of storage issues, you could always get a larger microSD card down the road. Personally, I'm getting the 64GB version and also have a 64GB microSD card waiting for it. If you can get the 32GB, I'd say go for that since after whatever apps/movies/music you install on the phone, you'll have limited space left over. That and if you take any photos/videos on the phone, that will eat up whatever remaining space you have. I think the 32GB + whatever size microSD card would be a safe bet.

But the main issue for me is I don't want to wait if there isn't a specific release date in mind. I'm still on an iPhone 4 and if there is a 10/25 release for 16GB (Sprint) and no announcements for a 32GB I just don't think I can hold off as for all we know the release won't be until 2013.

I'd imagine I would store photos and videos on the SD card so I don't really think that would utilize the internal storage. I agree that 32GB would be ideal but I'm wondering if 16GB would be ok assuming no hardcore game apps.
