Help quick circle view case

I have turned off the screen lock but am still unable to read a message through the quick view folder.
I can answer and view call logs though.

I thought you could read and reply to a message through the quick view folder?

Anyone know?

how could you reply? where would the keyboard show up? but here is a hands on that shows you can access the messaging application. Only the stock LG messaging though. No support for third party messaging apps yet.

There is a toggle in the general settings for the quick circle case, have you made sure that's on?

Yes it is on.
It informs me of a message but i cant read it without opening the case.
No big deal but it is annoying me.
