Help Quick Confirmation - Camera

Just a quick note here to make sure my daughter's Stratosphere cannot, in fact, ZOOM. We have yet to find a way to make it happen!

If there IS a zoom feature, how do you get to it?

The stratosphere will not let you zoom if the camera is set to take photos at the highest quality. Lower the quality of the photos being taken, and zoom will become enabled. The lower the quality is, the further it will allow you to zoom.

Keep in mind that this is a digital zoom... which all it really doing is taking the full picture and cropping everything out that isn't "zoomed" in.

The phone does not optical zoom. There is a difference.

As was said above, you need to lower the image quality (in the camera settings) first. Once you're in a resolution that allows for zoom, you can use the volume buttons to zoom in and out.
