Quick contacts inside Gmail app

I already asked this in a separate thread, but thought of asking it again in a new one - has anyone been able to see quick contacts popup inside gmail app ? For me (SXS running ICS 4.0.4) when I click on a contact picture inside gmail, something seems to flicker, but no pop up is shown. I think its a problem with my phone, just wanting to confirm.
 
Your right, diddn't work on uk generic .453 ics and still dosen't work on .45 NL generic ics (new firmware)
