Help Quick Keys

Is there an easy way to set quick keys/shortcuts on the g2x?

For example, I want to hit a single button to turn on tethering, rather than navigate thru the settings menu.

Near as i can tell the only wat to do it is to use wigets. If you look in the market there are widgets for almost everything. I use one for a shortcut to my bluetooth settings because I use multiple bluetooth devices and also I use one to turn my wifi hotspot on instead of going through the settings menu. I am sure that there is a way to turn the tethering feture on as well and if not just use the hotspot feture if your computer has a wirless card that is.

Get an app called Elixir from the market; it's free. I've only just installed it myself in response to your question, but it looks very useful. In particular, with about two minutes of fiddling around, I was able to create a widget to turn the wifi hotspot on and off, as you suggested.
