Help quick messaging question. need help.

does this happen to anybody else?: sometimes ill reply to a text message and my reply will appear above the one i just received. somehow it gets out of order. is there a way to fix this? its kinda annoying. installed handcent and the order of the messages are fine it just occurs on the stock app but i much prefer the stock app.
 
Honestly I believe most the users are using Handcent which may be a reason why u've had to bump this...No one is seeing that on Handcent...
 
kind of a shame i had to but i didnt get the answer i wanted. hope it wasnt against the rules to bump it. one of my peeves about the moment is if im going to be using apps like handcent and dolphin, i wish i could just uninstall the stock apps because they just become dead weight.
 
Bumping is normal forum etiquette;)

As far as the apps & dead weight, those don't take much space & u can just disable the notifications on the stock app of course so u won't even remember it was there after a day or so:)

Yeah, it's annoying as hell and used to happen to me all the time... until I installed handcent:)
 
Finally!!! somebody else it happened too. haha I know the apps weigh next to nothing but i have a bit of ocd. and having them there is annoying lol because theyre not being used. ive also made the switch to dolphin. I love it.
 
Have the issues with Handcent been fixed? I was going to install the app today but the reviews said the latest upgrade was causing havoc. What about dolphin which one do you prefer dolphin vs handcent?

Mine does it when I reply almost immediately after getting a text, otherwise it is normal. Not really bothered by it but might try this Handcent but don't really need it.

I hadn't had any issues with Handcent so I'm not sure as to what ur speaking of; as for Dolphin, there isn't anything to compare as thatz a Browser...

I use the stock messaging program and ive had the moment since a day after release also I'm a heavy texter and i have never had this problem
 
Tried Handcent. Not a fan. I didn't like that it wouldn't look like the stock messenger app. I just use SMS Popup to make up for the lack in the stock system.
 
@dkjones, theres a setting in handcent that makes it look like the stock app. you just have to play with the settings a bit like colors but it is posssible because ive done it
