Quick Pic

I just received an update for my quick pic gallery app when I noticed it has changed owners. Quick Pic is now owned by Cheetah Mobile.

If Memory serves me right is this the company that has been accused of data mining? If so can someone offer me a better alternative to quick pic?

Any other recommendations? Tried most in the above link don't care for any of them. I want something that will allow me to set as wallpaper from within the app like quick pic. Everyone I tried only allows to set as a contact picture. So very disappointed my favorite gallery app was bought by thieves

A+ Photo Gallery can't set an image as wallpaper directly, but if you select "Set as" and choose "wallpaper" then it will give a choice of apps that can (including your launcher, which is what I generally used anyway even with QuickPic).

Piktures can set wallpapers in-app.

Can't remember with F-Stop, which I also trialled but don't currently have installed (it was fast, but that was because it was caching a lot more data than the others).

I ended up just using the gallery app. The one in my rom also lets me edit so it works good enough. Thanx for the suggestions
