Quick question about apps on SD card

I finally learned how to install/move apps onto my SD card. If I start installing/move my market apps onto the card and I flash on a new rom, will I have to reinstall the app or will it appear just because it was on the card?

I hope I worded this question right.

If you flash a new rom, and want to use apps2sd again, you will have to reinstall the app, since you will have to partition the sd card. Use Titanium Backup to backup your apps (I believe you do not want to backup the data as well, just the apps.. best to check XDA for more info, since I never really had to do this), and then restore them after flashing the new ROM.

I already have them backed up but I got to thinking about installing apps on the sd card 'n junk. Thanks for the response
