Help Quick question about MMS texts

Why do I keep receiving texts a little movies instead of just a picture? This is getting annoying. Every pic I get sent to me is like this and every pic I send does the same. Am I doing something wrong?

thats just how the droid x messaging app receives mms messages. you can try another messaging app like handcent sms or chompsms to not have it like this

Well, I just tried handcent and when someone sends me more than one picture in a text it still shows up as a slideshow which means the pictures can not be saved to the sd card.

I guess if I want to be able to save pictures to my phone that someone sends me via MMS text messages, I have to make sure and tell them to send them to me one at time. Kinda sucks, but oh well.....

Anyone ever figure out a fix to this? My wife just sent me a picture text from her droid2 and it plays like a 5 second "movie" of the pic, a friend sent one from an Iphone the other day the came over as a 10 second "movie" of the pic. Annoying...
