I have a quick question about radios, im about to root and re-rom my thnderbolt, im looking at BAMF-GingerREMIX beta 6, and I dont see it say anywhere about radios, but if i am supposed to flash a new radio, how do i do it? Do i do it with Rom manager? and also if i flash it to mr2 can i ever fully stock recover it for resale? or will this like make that impossible?

how do i do it?
You find the MR2 or MR2.5 radio(on xda somewhere...EDIT:MR1 & MR2 Radios)
You rename it to PG05IMG.zip and place on the root of ur sdcard(make sure to check md5sum, instructions in link below)
You flash the PG05IMG.zip file in hboot(instructions in link below)

Yes you can return to MR1 after going to MR2, same instructions as above but replace the MR2 radio with MR1

And not to be rude but you could have found these instructions if you had searched the forums for them

Your not rude thanks for the answer, i started looking more after and i didnt want to delete the thread just encase it prevents someone from posting it again.

Definitely flash the radio from recovery, NOT ROM Manager. There have been problems reported when flashing roms and radios with ROM Manager.

I'm actually glad you posted. I had the same questions and searched a few places as well. I actually figured this would be a question asked often enough that it would be a sticky somewhere.

you flash RADIOS in HBOOT/FASTBOOT

you flash ROMS in RECOVERY

^^ THIS ^^
I don't mean to pick on you Rick, but
There are a lot of newbies using the thunderbolt. I see this as a good thing because most of us here like to share information. But guys please be careful when giving out info. If your not certain research before trying to help.

Never flash a radio in recovery/Rom manager! Always use hboot.
