I must admit i was too impatient to wait for a reply and just ignored it and put that revolution rom on it, which seems to work fine.

So what is this super cid exactly ? And what would i need it for.

Its just for letting you install ROM's from different carriers, if you are in the UK and phone is unlocked I wouldn't bother
