Root Quick question flashing sprint ROM

If I flash the smooth criminal ROM from over at XDA, since it is a sense based ROM will the MMS work on my Evo V? My phone is already S-Off and I followed all of the directions from the "turn your phone into an Evo 3D" thread.

Not at all, I'm sure that this will be helpful to others, especially the influx of new users from the Black Friday to Cyber Monday $150 deal.
 
Which rom was it...? I can patch it for you. I'm using Viper3D and I patched it...I've patched inBREDED from over there as well.

SmoothCriminal. Got it. Gonna patch it now.
 
Okay actually, rather than downloading the whole ROM for two files...if you want this patched, upload the framework-res.apk from /system/framework and the build.prop from /system and I'll patch it up for you. Then you can replace them in the ROM, and re-flash and should be set.
 
Ok, that would be great! As soon as I get a free moment I will upload those!


Edit: how hard is it to patch those sense ROMs to work? How come there is no guide on here? I'm sure that there are quite a few people who run into this but don't quite have the expertise to fix it themselves. I change ROMs constantly and would actually like to try those few you mentioned but I do actually use mms quite frequently.
