Help Quick question (help)

This question has probably been answered a million times, and if so you can just refer me to the answer and i'd be very happy. I got a S3 up to date with an sd-card plugged in.

For some reason when I try to open up the file from my computer to add songs and whatnot, it always freeze the my computer directory up. I have MTP selected, but cannot seem to get access to the phone in any way shape or form.

Is there any way I can add music to my phone easily, preferably directly onto my sd-card. If not, what could be the issue?

Also, why is the site telling my not to post links? My posts contain no links whatsoever.

Welcome DragoonC! Glad to have you join:)

Did this sd card issue happen after you updated?

Do you have a card reader that you can check to see if the computer can easily see it? As funky said, they are inexpensive to at least try..

If the computer can see it via the card reader, but not in the device, I'm curious if this issue happened after an update?

As far as links, new members such as yourself, cannot post links in their first post. But as far as the message coming up even though you have no links in your post, not sure...perhaps a glitch or just a friendly reminder about it:) That is done to prevent spambots and other unfriendlys:) (did I spell that correct? lol )
So, nothing personal, all new members see that message ;)
