Root Quick question - MikG 3.0 Lockscreen Tweak?

Anyone know if MikG 3.0 has an option to change the lockscreen back to the old Sense 2.0 bar slider? I believe the AOSP lockscreen is an option, but I'm looking for a mod to get the bar back like on tommytomatoes Classic ROM. One thing I don't like about the 2.1/3.0 ROMs is the ring slider, it always gives me problems after a while trying to answer calls. Better yet, any way to change "dialer" so to speak, that's used when a call comes in?

Good question here. I'm not 100% sure how to accomplish this. I'll poke around and see if I come up with anything.

Are you using a launcher? I'm on Go Launcher and I've downloaded Go Locker, lets me download all sorts of different lockscreens, including a stock looking one. I dunno if Go Locker will work without Go Launcher though...

As far as the dial is concerned, you can find something in the market as well... Go Dial is what I use, a lot cleaner that what is included with some of these roms.

Well now that I'm looking at it, Go Dialer doesn't change the screen that appears during an incoming call. I guess that is rom dependent and can't be changed (chime in if I'm wrong please)...

I usually use GoLauncher/dialer when I'm on AOSP, i hate the AOSP dialer lol Do you have issues with unlocking GoLocker, then having to unlock the Sense/ROM screen also? That's been my experience with WidgetLocker, so I haven't tried another 3rd party locker since

What kind of issues are you having with answering from the lock screen?

Generally just lag. It doesn't happen everytime, but it never happens for me on bar slider screens when answering calls. I first thought it was an underclock issue, so i raised my max on the screen off profile with no success. It'll lag bad enough to cost me a call or two from time to time. Once it happened again on MikG's 3.0, i got ticked and flashed over to tommy's Classic. Immediate response everytime on unlocking in general, or when a call comes through. Even on Froyo, before the ring slider was used, i never had this problem.

Maybe I can see if the UOT kitchen can make a .zip to put it in.

There used to be a whole thread about it. You can get it back, but it doesn't re-integrate with the dialer so that you can ignore/answer calls without unlocking the phone first. So, with the way the ROM is currently set up, it isn't possible. I tried a plethora of methods to try and get it working. More info is here.

I just saw that Jade moved my question and linked that thread, guess I spoke too soon.

Unfortunately it was never figured out. Maybe we can throw a request out to aamikam for adding that option in the lockscreen tweaks, if it's even possible.

Yeah I do whenever the phone has been reboot for whatever reason, but during daily operations the rom lockscreen shouldn't come up at all, at least that's been my experience.

Try the default slider bar go locker... Might be half of what you're looking for.
