over some time now i have accumulated alot of "non-essential stuff" on my sd and want to wipe it clean... here is what i've backed up on my pc...
titanium backups...
nandroid backups...
pics, vids, wallpaper, etc...
is there anything else that is essential that i need to BU... i believe that this is sufficient..
:)
ps... easiest way to "reformat" sd... thru recovery???

1) You're probably fine just backing that up, but there is no definite answer for this. Some apps will store data on the sdcard in addition to the normal app data location on internal storage. If this is the case, you might end up wiping some app data. If you haven't backed that up, then you'll lose it for good. Your best bet is to backup the entire sdcard (unless you have *that* much stuff). That way, you can copy back whatever you know you need (pictures, etc.), but have the rest on hand just in case you deleted something you shouldn't have. After a few weeks, just delete the old backups if you don't want it taking up space anymore.

2) The easiest way to fully format it is probably through recovery. Just make sure you have everything backed up, and don't accidentally wipe anything else :).
