Quick question, probably an easy answer

What is the "sync" button when you pull down the notification bar? Do I need to have that clicked on at all? I have no idea what it is even "syncing"

You got apps that continuously syncs in the background like, emails, calenders, contact, etc.

You can turn them off with that to help conserve battery.

Long press the button and a list of apps capable of synch'ing will appear and the ones set to synch will be green.

Thats pretty cool, I didnt know you could long press it to see what is syncing. Thanks for the tip
