Root Quick Question

Hey I got the telus htc hero and I finally rooted it with the universal androot and i installed the rom manager. Since in canada the 2.1 update isn't out how can i install 2.1 now that my phone is rooted

Universal android rooted your phone whilst it was running android 1.5? Interesting, I didn't know it would.

But yeah, you can install 2.1 Did you tell ROM manager to install the recovery menu? (The top most option).

Moving this to the All Things Root section by the way.

ya i just found out how to install 2.1 its loading it right now. after that im put the 2.2 update
