most likely those are sites you previously visited.

Yes and no. Your recently visitied sites will be there, but the browser is also preloaded with popular sites, so for example when you want to go to yahoo, you just type in ya and it will auto fill the rest.

No, that is not a site that would be preloaded. someone obviously went there. Go into the history and see when it happened.
