Rooted my 2.1 intercept and its stll currently rooted. Got an updte option last night for 2.2. Is it safe to do the update through the "update phone" option or should i just hold off on it. Dont care if i lose my rooted apps or anything. Just wanna make sure i dont perambrick or mess up my phOne.

I also have the same situation, rooted 2.1 phone and got 2.2 update notice. I am holding it now and waiting for any comment/experience on it.

You can't update.

You'll need to un-do the rooting, that is, restore your phone to stock, to include any apps you may have deleted after rooting.
