What is the advantages of getting an OTA? Because right now im running the .588 and am loving it. Is there any way when the OTA comes out someone will make it able to SBF or something? I dont know all the correct terms to use so dont butcher me. :| Thanks in advance

all those terms looked correct to me! :)

And the advantages are that Verizon supports it and most developers will more than likely base their ROMs off this base versus an older leak.

And it's highly possible that there will be a SBF file that will be produced but if they update the radio and kernel then the SBF won't do that and you will need to take the OTA. I would suggest getting yourself up to date on the most current leak .595 so you can receive the OTA.

No, you shouldn't have to. The data with GB is compatible with all other versions. If you did need to you will find out when you boot back up. It will boot loop and you will need to boot into stock recovery (home+power) to do a factory reset. But don't confuse the loooong first boot time with a boot loop. It may take what seems like 5 minutes.

Several people have reported success in doing so. I went from .588 to .591 to .595 but I don't think it really matters. As long as you did the three part update to .588 you should, in theory and according to other's success, be good2go
