Root Quick question

Okay so I'm kinda new to rooting but I tend to pick up really quick so my question is if the HTC Evo V 4g is suppose to be virgin mobile's version of the HTC Evo 3d can you use ROMs from the HTC Evo 3d on this device.

Yes, you'll need to downgrade your hboot to 1.04 in order to run most of them. You'll also want to do the s-off procedure if you're wanting to flash roms without the 4-ext recovery.

If you're stock then you would have the 1.57 hboot.
