Quick question

From 2009 to 2011 I had Android phones (hero and Evo 4g). When the iPhone 4s was released, I bought it and left Android behind. Well I am now coming up on my upgrade and want to go back to Android. I have been eyeballing the S4.

The main reason I went to iPhone was for the simplicity of simply hooking up the iPhone and transferring music with a simple click; something that I could not do with Android. I had to plug my phone in and transfer music. No, it was not that difficult, but something that annoyed me.

So my question is is it still the same way of having to transfer music or has google released a player, like itunes, that is as simply as plugging your Android phone to the computer and transferring that way. I know that there was an app out that supposedly made transferring music as easy as itunes, but I could never get it to work as simple as others said it was. Thanks for reading/responding. I have been gone from Android for so long that I am way out of the loop.

Actually, its been existing since before there was an iTunes if I remember correctly. You can plugin your phone and WinAmp or Windows Media Player can detect it as an external drive and you just click sync or transfer. I've been using WinAmp for years to sync my playlists to my Android device with the one click thing you've been looking for, ever since from my Nokia days. You can also look at manufacturer based solutions like Samsung Kies for PC/Mac or Sony's PC Companion, both of which works like iTunes AFAIK.

Thank you

You can also take a look at Doubletwist. It has a paid airsync feature that will sync over your home wifi. The other features of doubletwist are free.
