Root Quick ? re: HBoot

Hey guys,

I have a hardware issue with the responsiveness of the right side of my screen so I have to head over to verizon. I already unrooted and I have S-On but is there a certain number for hboot that im supposed to have? If I remember right it is at 1.04 anyone know off hand? Thanks in advance!

if you had run an RUU,youd have hboot 1.05.0000.

if you legetimately OTAed to 2.11.605.5 from 1.70.605.0 youd still have 1.04.0000.

long as you have one or the other,you should be fine. i doubt vzw employees will know the difference. if questioned you could always say you downloaded HTCs RUU and ran it on your computer in attempt to fix your prollem before going to see the good folks at vzw

Thanks for the info Scotty! I feel safer with that answer, no new (refurb) til monday. I can't believe how different the phone is with stock GB now.. This sux lol.. Thank you tho, I'll be back rooted monday afternoon

ugg, i am in the same boat, downloading the stock RUU now. stock suck
hope to have a working screen in the next couple days.
