Root Quick root for Mac os x... Reliable? (thunderbolt)

It works fine. I just tried it. Flawless. It's a bit long since it seems he just threw it together, nevertheless it saves time compared to entering each line manually in Terminal. Go for it.

Im not sure. I didn't check. I rooted, then loaded the rooted update. Then flashed the GB radio, then flashed Das BAMF 2.0.

thanks for the reply. just wanted to point out that if the custom ruu is still the 1.12.605.9 firmware, and if a person doesnt flash a rom right away with the 1.13.605.7 or the gb leak base, the phone will realize that its firmware is old and hound you for an update until one is done.

Oh, yea im not sure about all that lol. But i volunteered to be the guinea pig on this one and i can now say this method is legit and maybe should be stickied for us Mac users.

Got my new TB today and already installed the OTA. Gonna try this and I'll report back. Taking forever to d/l, though.

Doing my first NAND with Clockwork. I had the OTA installed. So far, so good. Gonna flash the debloated stock ROM so I can at least get acquainted with the Stock Sense experience before I forever leave it behind.
