Help Quick Settings Tethering

I have had my V for over a year, and used Quick Settings to tether since she was new. VM just replaced it and I can not get it to work on this new phone. Am I doing something wrong?

no you now hae a newer optimus v running 2.2.2 VM turned it off in this model

In 2.2.1 it is a hidden menu option, which is why Quick Settings works.

In 2.2.2 it is a locked menu option, which is why Quick Settings doesn't work. There are other apps as well as other threads regarding this subject.
