Quickpanel toggles mod for gc01/JB

I noticed in some roms they had notification toggles and an app called quickpanel toggles, so I was wondering if I went back to stock with root, is there an apk or install method fairly simplistic in nature to get those same toggles?
I noticed there was one that was for android 4.1.1, but wasn't compatible with 4.2.1 :(......so I'm looking for a way to do what the roms are doing via notification toggle wise.
 
yep, that's the ones :).
I'd like to remove/replace the stock one or add to the stock ones.

Touched by SG4 has the one I prefer, but I am currently on this rom and am not really liking it that much, so was wondering if there was a way to either replicate those toggles and use them like that rom has, where I can toggle what ones I want off/on, or perhaps add more of the stock ones to the menu.

I also would be fine with none of the stock notifications, and useing an app called notification toggles, but I'm betting if I use notification toggles without removing the stock toggles, I will get both toggles, and it would be pointless.
 
There is mods you can flash in to get extended toggles on stock JB. Let me go find it. It is available for Odexed ROMs too. I have one flashed in myself.

Sweet, that'd be awsome, I just had a question about that though.......are the toggles customizable?, ie: you get a list of the toggle and you pick which ones you want, and you can customize the list with the toggles you want.
 
Not sure how configurable they are, Remember if you did the oneclick for GC01 then your reom is odexed so you want the mod for odexed.
 
This is purely a guess, but I am guessing that any of the JB tweaks will work on gc01 as long as it's JB, and not GB?

I was looking for a gc01 specific but I never thought about a JB working ie: a different version such as ga10 will work on gc01 as well

Any way by chance to edit a systemUI file to work with a stock odexed TW rom?

I'm thinking I am getting close to the point of "over my head" stuff :)

For now I am waiting on my battery to charge, just now noticed it was 30%, bleh, so gotta wait a bit for it to charge up before I oneclick back

I'll post tomorrow and let ya know how it went, what symtoms I had and stuff.

I tried looking for the AIO odexed but all I find is deodexed :(.

Update:
I did a one click, got up and running, then flashed agats recovery 1.4.2, rebooted to recovery, flashed the kobridge 1.0a odexed and rebooted.
I now have no notification/status bar, and my background(walpaper) is black.

Out of habit I backed up my systemUI.apk file to my sd card, before I did all this, so it is sitting on the sd card. I tried to copy over the systemUI.apk file to system/apps and rebooted, and still have a black background and no notificatin/status bar.

Guess I must have missed a step or something, although I've flashed before so I am not sure what I could have missed.

I tried searching for an AIO odexed mod, but only came up with deodexed ones :(
 
Well I've just about given up on the "odexed" option. Can't seem to find any odexed version of much of anything anymore.
I decided to install stock gc01 deodexed and try some things. I realize the odexed and deodexed work the same, and finally understand the difference in odexed vs deodexed, I just was loking for as stock as possible, although it could be argued that root isn't stock :).......anyways I'm gonna try the deodexed and see how it fairs.
 
Hopefully that will go okay for you. The deodexed GC01 that was out a while back seemed problematic for some users. I don't know what is was about it that ROM. I had been on Jelly Bean starting with the FK23 leak, all the way through to GB27 before it got released officially. I saw no need to even bother with GC01 since that would just give me back the bloat that I would end up deleting anyways.

I did notice things available to me in the play store that weren't available on a boost labeled ROM. Although I don't use it, one of those things is the Bing app. it would say not supported by carrier for the device that had a Boost labeled ROM. I found it odd..
 
yeah that did work, however now I want to add my own icons, so that has me on a whole new project thank you for the help.
I will post a new post on what it is I want to do


Looks like I'm at a standstill/dead end for now. I am partial to the stock icons of samsung, while others may like the fancy stuff I'm just kinda a simpleton I guess.
So getting the stock icons in toggles and battery modification, is out of the question I guess, because it seems it's either in a rom, or, the modded zip flash files are all useing other than the stock TW icons.
I hope that all made sense :).
Anyways I guess I'll just hang it up for now and move on.
