Root Radio bricked HTC Incredible S

I accidentally Radio bricked my IS. I was running a Custom ROM and tried to flash Froyo RUU over it to claim warranty. But due to an older radio ver. on the RUU, my phone doesnt boot up. It basically remains powered off. Is there any way this can be fixed? Can HTC guys fix this?

As far as I'm aware (based on my experience of other HTC handsets), a radio brick is completely non recoverable, sorry.
