Radio Time - WOW

Bought this app because I clicked over to radiotime.com (on my pc) and clicked the link for WMMS Cleveland, OH and it started streaming. Once I purchased the APP and tried to tune in using the inc, it told me the stream is not available. WTF with that?

none the less, $2.99 is a drop in the bucket for the tens of thousands of radio shows that ARE available...

Try reading my post up a bit...i dont understand you guys saying you cant get sports. i listen to the detroit tigers...
 
Just bought the app and can not listen to any of the stations i want to locally on my INC. I do however get these same stations on my PC no problem???
Left them an email telling them about this problem. Not sure if i should uninstall the app now or tough it out?
Oh well................$ 2.99..................LOL

Some stations stream their sports games over the net, and those you can get. The Yanks were playing the Mets yesterday. Using Radio Time, the Yankees' station was news, while the Mets' station was the game. I'm assuming each team's station will be different as to whether it works or not through Radio Time.

That's odd, but you can use your FM tuner on the DI for that. They might get those stations for you if you emailed them. I'd keep it for the 3 bucks.

Sometimes they will fix things on Radiotime, but you are correct. They emailed me back stating such. Oh well, it's still a keeper. I can get the Mets - Yankees game on 770 today.
 
OK, I like it but how do I exit the program? I can pause it but there is no option to exit the app. I just got a phone call in the middle of it. It paused and when I was done with the call, it came back on. Now the pause button doesn't work and i can't back out of it.

I'll give it a try in a little over 3 months before buying this app. As I said, in the past I tried high and low to stream a game with ZERO luck. I went to your link above, and yeah, there are a list of affiliate stations that have internet streams in general, but the question is whether or not they stream the game broadcast. In the past, this was blacked out, basically playing music or something else instead of repeating the live broadcast. The internet stream isn't necessarily a carbon copy of the radio broadcast due to licensing issues when it comes to sports, or at least football in this case. I hope I'm wrong and this works out, but history has proven otherwise.

Edit: Again, I'll reserve judgement until I try it. And maybe the licensing issue is a team-by-team case. Your link claims I have almost a dozen options to stream the games for free so either things have changed of the site is FOS.

My wife has this app for her palm pre... The app is free in the Palm catalog. :/
I'm considering getting it for my Dinc. Much cheaper than $60 for a Meadhead membership.

Update: I just bought it. My first paid app. I hope this does not start a bad habbit.

if this APP has a search can you search Queen and see if it pulls up a station 101.ru Queen .....

I just brought this app its great, but are u able to listen though ur Bluetooth? If so is there special instructions? Thanks for any help
 
Great App, much more polished than i heart radio.

Auto detected my location, it syncs with a companion website, and it also lists podcasts. This fills what I felt was one of the few gaps in the Android Marketplace.
 
Worth every penny! I am amazed at the versatility, the number of selections as well as the information available in all of the sub menus - A+ :D
 
I really like the RadioTime app, but I am having a small problem. I live in an area that is 3G, but when I stream a podcast after about 15 minutes or so the podcast stops and tells me that the stream is idle. This wouldn't be a problem, but when it picks the stream back up it starts the whole podcast over and there doesn't seem to be any way to pick up where I left off or to fast forward.
Has anyone else experienced this? Do you have any guidance to prevent this?
