Root Raise max volume without root

pipo

Newbie
I have a Galaxy S4 Mini running andoid 4.2.2 and I would like to raise the volume beyond the max level allowed when using earphones. Setting my volume to max (beyond the warning) is still not loud enough for me as I am hard of hearing.

I have an Ipod and its max volume is much higher than my phone while using the same set of earphones, so I would just like to raise the android volume to the same as my Ipod. I do not want to root.

Volume+ doesn't work on 4.2 and all the threads I found are from years ago and I'm finding it hard to find updated threads on the topic.

I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Judging by the lack of responses is it safe to assume that the only way to accomplish this is to root? If so can someone please link to an UP TO DATE tutorial on how to raise volume once a phone is rooted.

I appreciate the help and thanks again.

Sorry pipo but rooting and modding your phone is probably your best bet for what you want.

Since you have the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, I have asked the friendly and charming Mods on here to move your thread to the Galaxy S4 Mini - All Things Root forum where you should be able to obtain specific information on rooting and modding for your phone model.

Good luck!
