Root Ram issues!!!!!

Ok so we have 768mb ram! But even with cm7 with nothing runninghave only 450Mb free_ seriously!!!!!!! My gf just bought razr 1GB ddr2 and she's only got 550mb free lol good job Google for messing up Linux.....ok so any roms out there for tbolt that are not memory whores???
 
FYI that is how it's suppose to work in a Linux world/Android. In a Linux environment unused memory is wasted memory. Only in Windows should you be concerned about free memory.

I bought new Samsung Galaxy S2 a couple of week back and it showed that it has 1 GB RAM.

Now i upgraded the software to Android 4.0.3 and RAM shows 687MB (total).... How it is possible?

Can Any one help?
