Help RAM problem

I've noticed on task manager that my fascinate has been using up a lot of RAM (268MB/325MB). Is anyone else having this problem? It says I have no active applications running and yet I still can't figure it out. How much RAM is everyone else running at? I'm wondering if this is why my battery lasts a little less than 12 hours (with normal usage). If someone does have a solution to this please help.

OP, to answer your question, the RAM issue you noticed if very normal. With Froyo, it will get a little better, but its just how the phone is.

Also, i think 12 hours is very reasonable. I personally might get 8-9 hours out of my battery (but, im on it all day).

Thanks Jedii, I hope froyo comes out soon and fixes most of the problems. I guess it's just not my phone that's "defective" because of samsung.
