Help ram problems

So I've had the Razr M for about two months and lately I've only had like 20 mb of ram not being used, it's really slowing my phone down, and I just wanted to know if you all had any advice for how to free up some space. I've still got 3GB of space on my phone plus a 32GB SD card with 17 GB free, so it's not like I'm just using up all its space.

Any help would be appreciated!

Just ordered this phone - browsing the forum, been a while but I can help -

The Gig of ram on this phone is memory for pre-loading programs, operating system components ect. You are correct if you can view how much is remaining while the phone is at idle but the 32 Gig SD card has no effect on the RAM, per say - same with PCs, consider the SD card your hard drive, consider the 1 Gig your memory, or RAM, the DDR(.) kind - long story short, you can reduce the amount of RAM which is loaded up, but your SD card or where you have your apps, programs, OS installed has little or no effect on the outcome. There are task killers out there, they can sometimes help (there in the market), you can also target certain apps that "draw" memory that you could have free and force close, better yet remove them, or follow my theory - first smartphone I owned, BB storm, had 1 meg left in memory but the phone ran smooth, for its time. Let the operating system manage the memory, those numbers honestly don't mean squat unless you truley have an app that's "leaking" or "soaking" memory up. Pay no mind unless its unmanageable, I'm running ICS on my X currently, 4.x JB HAS to manage memory well. Check what's running, and when - also android OSs have a tendency to lag a tad when the batteries on its way out (not bad, just 15% or less) -

I can't honestly say, I see what your seeing since I've yet to receive the phone, but moto's moto, androids well, android - hardware/software just keeps getting better.

Hope that helps, need clarification - I'll check back later.
