Ram question??

This phone is supposed to have 768mb of ram but when i go to settings and click applications and then hit "running services," i see that there are 263mb used and 266mb free. Granted Im no math genius that does not add up to 768....anybody know why?

Well, right off the bat, capacities are (for reasons unknown to me) always slightly overstated. Your microSD card might be labeled as 16GB... but take a look at the actual numbers and you'll see that isn't quite there.

With that being said... maybe the OS has (roughly) 239MB of ram delegated to it that are not available for you to use???
