Help RAM question

Hello,

When i check the ram usage using task manager i ve got around 437Mb of used Ram out of 837 Mb

But when i check the ram usage using manage applications / Running processes. I have around: 252Mb of used ram and 476Mb of available ram.
The summ of 252+476= 728Mb ( and not 837 ) ....

Am i missing something ?

Noticed the same thing myself. It. May be related to cached applications, those the system preloads but are not actually running. May account for the discrepancy.

there will be a system reserve limit. if you were to use 100% of the RAM its would crap a brick and crash.
