Help Random apps appear after I unluck my phone with PIN

Sometimes after I unlock my phone using my PIN, I wil see a random app open up, or a txt message conversation. For instance, I just unlocked my phone and all of a sudden the calendar appears. I was looking at the calendar about 30 minutes ago, but then closed it. Then did a few other things on my phone and then locked it. So why would calendar appear after unlocking it?

I'd like to know the answer to this question as well. Same thing happens all of the time to me.
 
Probably unrelated, but do you use Launcherpro, or another alternate home app? I've noticed something similar happens when a home app is not loaded - either Sense or Launcherpro is closed and neither are set to default. You just get random apps showing up.
 
I don't lock my phone with a PIN, and I'm just using the stock Sense home screen launcher, but this type of think happens to me every once in a while. Doesn't happen frequently enough for me to notice any type of pattern.
