Root Random Battery Life

I've always been able to solve my battery draining problems but this one is a thinker.
I recently updated to serendipity 6.2 and everything seemed fine in terms of battery. However, after a few days my battery started to drain itself. I first noticed this when I woke up one morning only to find that my battery was dead when it was at about 85% about 8 hours before. I checked what was running and it was only launcherpro. Other than that, nothing else was running, and my wifi/bluetooth was turned off. I charged my battery and cleared all battery memory and then suddenly the next day my battery was amazing. I had 70% of juice left and it was over 24hours since I last charged it. Then all of a sudden the same night, the battery drained. Has this happened to anybody before?

Have you done a battery re-calibration since you flashed Serendipity? You're recommended to do one after you flash a new ROM or kernel.

If you haven't done it or just want to give it a try, just follow these steps.
1. Plug in your phone and let it charge to 100%.
2. Unplug the phone and shut it off. After it is completely shut down, plug it back in and wait for it to charge to 100% with the phone off. (Press one of the volume keys to toggle the screen on and off).
3. Repeat these first two steps.
4. With the battery at 100%, go into recovery mode. Since you're on Serendipity, just hold the power button down until your boot options come up. Click "recovery".
5. When you get into CWM, go down to the "advanced features" tick and click it.
6. Choose "wipe battery stats".
7. Choose "yes". It will then wipe all of your battery history. Restart the phone and you should be good to go.
