Help Random reboots

Ok so in the past 18 hours I have had 6 random reboots. I have not changed anything about my phone in that time(no new apps or anything). Anyone else have this happen?

i just had 1 in the 48 hrs i had the phone. got a text while in the texting app and it rebooted. not a big deal for me. plus it boots fast.

I suggest making note of what apps are running most commonly in the background and if it happens again, uninstall some or all of those apps and see if still doing it. If it is stock apps or OS/UI issue, it would seem almost of us would be having the issue (like the DX2).

I have yet to have a reboot so far in the week i have had it. I don't have too many apps on here at the moment. Since its a new phone and the apps havent updated with the droid 3 in mind yet, there may be compatibility issues, especially with a brand new dual core device. I say wait a few more days, if you still get them it may be a hardware issue and you may need to replace/return.

I have almost 200 user apps installed now and no reboots yet, but probably just jinxed myself posting this...

Haha, I'm afraid to say anything

215 now at 1.3gb........ STILL no issues

Have yet to need to restart the D3 and no reboots. Very strange, since every Android device I owned needed this (G1, D1, Incredible and DX2). Heck, the first three devices would not fit anywhere near that many apps.

My Eris and Thunderbolt were both nightmares. The X and now the Droid 3 are wonderful. I'm starting to see a trend here :) Keep at it Moto

D3 seems the real deal. Only issue I have is the power and volume buttons are too small and thin. Seems the power button may be a weak spot for the device, since the displacement of pressing force may not be adequately displaced in such thin area.

Probably nothing, but I am already weary of the power button failing as a result.
