Help random reboots

my phone (currently running CM6 ) keeps rebooting out of no where . how can I stop this ? it doesn't reboot of I use it but if I leave it alone , it'll soon reboot .
 
backup rom and reflash cm6, and you can restore your data using advance restore setting in cwm.

I had this happen, with the stock metro 2.2 and CM7. When I flashed to CM7, it didn't reboot for several weeks. Then it started again. I never figured it out.

My wife's Ascend did the same thing. I tried app killers, cache cleaners, nothing helped. The only thing I am wondering is that we had to move to a roaming area, and it started doing it after that. My niece just came up with a M835, and her metro phone is now rebooting like crazy. She just bought the phone a couple of weeks before she moved up here.

The Ascends would only reboot when they were not in use. Drove me crazy. Never could figure out why.
