Help random restarts?

Newbie
Anyone else having random reboots with the phone? i have had mine for 2 days and has done it twice today, never before though.
 
I've had sense reboot on me a couple times, but not the phone. That doesn't sound normal lol.

I DID have something awkward though. I shut the phone down and it wouldn't restart. I had to pull the battery to get it to power back up.
 
Rebooted on me while I was looking at pictures in the Gallery. Only happened once. It froze for a few seconds while I was scrolling through the pictures and then it just rebooted.
 
no, its a complete reboot. I get the opening video and 4g sign. Do you think that is something that a hard reset could fix like maybe i installed a bad app, or is it probably a hardware related issue?

Under menu, settings, about phone, software information, software number, the updated version should end with .6
You can check for updates by going to menu, settings, system updates, htc software updates
 
yeah its the .6 verison. yea, this is really frustrating. Also, my batter was fully charged around noon today, but after light to moderate usage its already at 17 percent left. I am guessing that is not normal.

What's your up time vs. awake time? look under menu, settings, about phone, battery
 
My phone rebooted itself last night while I was using tapatalk.

Mine's been rebooting every ten to thirty minutes. Just sitting there doing nothing, then reboot. I'm cranky. About to do a factory reset. :mad:

Well, all of them considering I just picked it up on launch day, but most recently was a game called Robo Defense. It started happening after that, but not immediately.

FWIW, I had that game on my G1 with no trouble. I know that's not necessarily relevant.
 
yeah, it's rebooted on me 2-3 times since friday. once was when switching scenes, once was when i started a phone call. if it gets more frequent, i'll get more worried. as of right now, no big deal.
 
I had one reboot yesterday while I was trying to make a phone call. Has'nt happened again...
 
It happened to me last night watching youtube. If it happens again, I'm getting something else. I love this phone though.
