Help Random shut downs

So there i was, sitting in class and all of the sudden I feel the Thunderbolt in my pocket vibrate once, so i pull it out of my pocket and it had turned off and back on again like fastboot. only problem was i didn't turn it off on purpose and once i left it in my pocket for another 5 minutes, it shut off entirely. I powered it back on and noticed the phone still had 92% battery. I've never had the phone randomly turn off like this before or at all entirely. anyone else at odd ends with this phone?

This has been happening lately to me also atleast once a day usually about 2 or 3 times a day i would look over and see the White screen with HTC logo and it would reboot. It is starting to get real annoying at first it never did this now all of the sudden it is doing it all the time.

Same deal here, i would have fastboot checked in the power settings but my phone turned all the way off for some reason

Has any one else found a fix for this yet?It has happen to me a few times since I got it.Not as much as you guys but enough to wonder how I can fix it.Any leads guys?

This happened to me once this last week. It did a complete reboot to the white HTC screen then completed the reboot. Weird..

My phone never did this till I installed the leaked update. I started to get reboots. I took the update off and have had no issues since.

How did you remove the update? I think I am going to remove the update because mine also never did it until i installed the update.

First thing you need to do is get ADB installed on your computer, follow the instructions in the link below.

Howto: Install the Android SDK - CyanogenMod Wiki

Download the stock ROM from the following link.

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Once you have ADB up and running, follow the steps in the link below until you finish step 4. I think you may be able to use the stock ROM instead of the downgrade ROM as detailed in the post below, but I went ahead and did the downgrade first.

[ROOT] PermRoot + Unlock Bootloader - Safer/Easier 4/21/2011 - xda-developers

I've only had 2 or 3 random reboots since I got the phone. I've always just attributed it to random apps running. With all that bloatware, I wouldn't doubt it at all.

I have had the same issue with my HTC Desire. I am running MIUI and thought it might be the new updates. But with all these issues could it be the phone it self? Mine has done it about 4-5 times a couple times when using my navigation and once using Utube and a few times charging..

My boyfriend told me to install all updates I get. My phone isn't rooted. I just got it last weekend. I did get some weird update a couple of days ago and I clicked it and didn't think anything happened as it didn't give me other notifications about what it installed, and I don't remember if it said OTA update?!? How do I tell if I installed it? Where do I look????
