thats' weird, musch as a hate to say it, well first boot into recovery and wipe data cache and also wipe dalvik cache, dont wipe factory reset. and if that solves your problem.

Did you by chance try that other latest new rom(didn't try the last update though)?
Mine started on that and persisted on #2 when i switched to it....

hey man, this also happenedd to me a few times. as far as ive looked into the situations, the only way to fix it is by flashing a NEW rom. it can still be the same rom, it just has to be a different version. for example if your on #2 2.3, get a new one like 2.4. you can try reflashing the same rom that you have now, but ive done that twice with two different roms and still the same thing happened.

i went from 2.2 to 2.3 and it started happenin then flashed 2.4 nd same issue and went back to 2.2 nd it still happens no matter what ive wipe everything already

Me too.
But like i said, this started on the other new rom and continued through all these variants mentioned(but in the past, before experimenting roms, 2.2 & 2.3 never gave me problems).
The only thing that's coincided is METRO tower problems in this neck of the country...and by coincidence most symptoms experienced on dialer, sms....

Now, i've gone to both PG & MTM roms and all these symptoms mentioned here have not resurfaced.

Mind you, i have not wiped / factory reset in between any of the various rom switches...only the minimal wipe caches and then overflash whichever rom.

To me, problems originate from either the new rom, metro, some malware or some hardware malfunction arising from so many restarts or overheating.

I cannot blame this rom-- in the past it did not have any issues, and the issues mentioned here surfaced while on another one.

well now thats weird cuz this is the only rom ive used besides gse a long time ago
I just had one this morning btw.

Nothing to be concerned with yet unless/until more show up.

No way to really tell unless wipe n start over, then tedious process of adding back one tweak and app(n maybe kernel, rom) at a time(+ not wanting to risk losing any contact / sms history used for work).

For me problem not serious enough + likely getting the Motion.

As far as Metro having pushed any update, don't think so...
This is the third day with no data in this part of country...sms service inconsistent too....

Off topic, but wonder why Guaterican did not choose Costamalan handle instead....

lol atleast u got insurance ive never asked how to get it haha

Forget it, i'm getting quite a few...during charging....and during texting and end of phone calls....freezeups during those two events too.

Don't know if the latest tower problems have any bearing(no data for a few days now)..

Well, the guy is likely combo Guatemala n Costa Rica...if instead of Guaterican, he takes the remaining = Costa Mala...:D

Yah, messages arriving helter-skelter...will wait until tower data problem solved.
Btw...what model did they give u as replacement?

lol can i pm u so u can explain me better because i got lost haha:confused:

sure, except i'm at work...won't be able to respond for the next 7/8 hours:(

I recommend you get as many things as possible to your sdcard in the meantime...the bootloop fix.... other roms you may want to try(the LD stock bloated rom and one other one at least)--don't have much to lose / they may serve as better repair...make a downloads(or other recognizable name) directory in your external card...

that other Wonder app you install to your computer....then connect to it with usb(set internet connection in settings)...it picks up your phone right away...the only hitch is that the connection gets dropped upon the slightest movement of usb cable.;..u may have to reconnect coupla times...

Note-- if you need all your call history & contacts, messages, etc. you could redundandtly back them up to your external card with any already-installed android apps for that purpose...remember that cloud backups will likely be incomplete due to your data outages....
