When I sleep and take naps, and I do take extended breaks duration of writing, and deeply changing the storyline, as my brain either reaches in any critera that flow throughout time. If you are intrested of seeing a preview of it, I could drop you a link that is on here to give you the idea flow of I have.Damn that is being busy. I usually only work Monday and Thursday, roughly midnight to between 10am and 12,Noon. Thinking of getting part time job if health will allow it.
I had the idea of Shake N Bake, but never mentioned it, thought it was like that, thanks for helping us outBut getting back to chicken @MoodyBlues, I make a delightful 'crust'. Pre shake n bake but actually similar. Roll the chicken in egg then seasoned bread crumbs and a medium drizzle of Italian dressing. Pop it in the oven and call it yummy.
I'm sure you do!But getting back to chicken @MoodyBlues, I make a delightful 'crust'.
Well, no...not in this lifetime.Pre shake n bake but actually similar. Roll the chicken in egg then seasoned bread crumbs and a medium drizzle of Italian dressing. Pop it in the oven and call it yummy.
I'm sure you do!
Do you think a 1962 episode, of a southern-set TV show, would have something like that in mind for 'chicken with crust?' The first time I noticed it, I just chalked it up to being a peculiar, southern way of referring to fried chicken. But the Taylors had fried chicken other times--and called it 'fried chicken.' Plus, I lived in the south (Florida, Texas) and never heard that. So it made me wonder.
It does sound good! Do you remember Shake 'n Bake's BBQ coating? It was so good! We used it on chicken, but I think it said pork chops, too. Looking back on it now, it just seems kind of funny--this pinkish-colored powder in a bag, that kind of resembled red Jello--but damn, when done baking, it turned into this fabulous, sweet, gooey sauce.Haha, I knew YOU wouldn't call it yummy but it really is. Grew up with it on the menu and still love it
Oh, okay, so you're voting for 'just another name for fried chicken,' correct? My parents were born and raised in Oklahoma. According to them, all meats fried with a breading had a crust. Perhaps an Okie thing. If it was just rolled in a seasoned flour mix it was thin crust and if dipped in an egg and milk mixture before the flour it had a thick crust.
Ole (oil) I never got used to.I grew up with bub instead of bulb, far for fire, idee instead of idea, so crust makes sense.
Thankfully, I don't remember that!this pinkish-colored powder in a bag, that kind of resembled red Jello--but damn, when done baking, it turned into this fabulous, sweet, gooey sauce.
These really belong in the ADW thread, but what the hell?!I know it is a bit late, but here is one of the screen shots I took of my app drawer.
Can I 'like' that ten times? Now, I may be mistaken, but I'm going to go out on a very fragile limb here and declare that @MoodyBlues will NOT be using the FBOS.
Hmmm...Heavens. Please don't tell me that's my new nickname.
Right back at you, root!Happy New Year a bit in advance, Moody (and everyone else, too...).

I see you're using the horizontal menu display of categories at the top; I prefer the side menu, which I find cleaner, and easier to use--no horizontal scrolling to get to my categories.
Being the organizational freak that I am, I have everything neatly tucked into appropriate categories:

Get your mind out of the gutter! (Mine's using up all the space down there. )Hmmm..... eye candy?

'eye_candy' is a name I've used for decades on my computers. They're directories containing icons, wallpaper, various visual enhancements I've downloaded for my desktop environment. So it follows that I'd have a similarly-named category in my Android devices' app drawers.
Here's this phone's current collection:

Saw that movie a little while ago, I was bothered by that too, I do not know why does Hollywood does movies like these, like in Hidden Figures, that give credit to real people too, why not just have other people justify that way, and not be so caught up in the glamours style of Hollywood ? It seem different about that way, I do not recall a Mission to Mars at all. Kind of wonder what was going throughout their head ya know..Speaking of movies from the last decade, over the holidays we watched "The Martian" which came out in 2015.
I thought it was pretty well done, but I was puzzled by a couple of things, maybe you can help me out.
First, I expected in the credits for them to show the pictures of the real people and not just the Hollywood people who played those roles as they often do in these kinds of films. I was kind of disappointed by that. Was anyone else bothered by that?
Also, it seems like I would remember a mission to Mars that had these kinds of problems, but while they showed some news clips in the movie, for the life of me I can't remember seeing or reading anything in the news or on the internet about it.
Anyway, those things aside, kudos to NASA and JPL for that daring rescue, and especially to Ares Astronaut Mark Watney for his creative resiliency throughout his ordeal.
