Random Thought Thread

Maybe they are just lonely. Maybe they don't have any one at home, and they come to see and hear people.

If they're just sat there, are they eating, making a Big Mac, fries and coffee last eight hours?

Don't know about the US, but I know the ones in Hong Kong can be so busy if you look like you're not eating and have finished, they'll ask that you vacate your seat for the next customer.
 
In Europe, sidewalk cafes welcome you to spot out on front with a drink our something. Makes people think the place is worth eating at.

To say I've tried that would be an understatement. She was my first girlfriend. We dated for a couple years back in the late '70s, but then she left me and married some other guy. I didn't see her again until thirty years later.

In that time she had gotten divorced from the guy she left me for—after fourteen years of marriage one day he just told her he was gay and left. She married again briefly a few years later and she had a boy (Jake), but then she found out her husband was sleeping with the babysitter and they got divorced. After that she started seeing another guy, but he would always treat her terribly and he constantly cheated on her, so they were on and off again for a few years.

And then on the fourth of July weekend, 2011, we ran into each other again. The guy she was with had cheated on her "for the last time" she said, and so we spent the fourth together, catching up on the years, and for a while everything was wonderful. I thought I had found what I'd always been missing. She was suffering from a lot of pain in her joints from Fibromyalgia and she was being bullied by her boss at work, so she was under a lot of stress. I spent a lot of time taking care of her, the house and her kids (she had two girls with her first husband, plus Jake).

I'd bought her a laptop so she could take care of things while she was laid up on the couch and then the day before Christmas (2011) she couldn't find her glasses and so I went looking for them. For some reason I thought to look up on top of the fridge and underneath all the junk I found a letter she had recently wrote to "the cheater", saying she missed him and loved him and wanted him back, blah blah blah.

Needless to say, I was pretty devastated. We broke up the next day.

And then two months ago I learned she had lost her business and her dad had passed and the cheating guy (whom she had gotten back with) had cheated on her some more. She was also at risk of loosing her home and she had a lot of other things going on, so I thought she could use some help. I helped her clean up her yard, her house, we did some scrapping for a while, went and checked out yard sales and antique stores together. Once in a while I would hug her and tell her everything was going to be all right. She was in pretty bad shape physically so I would go over to her house in the mornings and get her boy Jake off to school so she could sleep in. After a couple months one day she just wrote me off and went back to her cheating ex.

So, have I tried wooing her back? Oh yeah, it seems to be the story of my life.

I have the ONLY LOGICAL explanation as to why they are there!!!

I KNOW WHY....

Because they are actually ALIENS from another dimension and an (EVIL COUGH COUGH) anonymous gubbermint organization came to these 2 aliens and WIPED their memory in order to save the interwebz, the universe and all that stuffs!

Abd they used these dogy looking guys to do it:

Oh Tina. What the hell have you done? Also, last time I checked, water...doesn't...go..upside..down. Oh god. The physics in DOA is so good I can't even.
